Colin McKay is a chartered civil and structural engineer, who has 61 years experience in the construction industry, mostly spent in the design of reinforced concrete, steel, masonry and wooden structures.
Much of the work has been done on highway bridges, from prestressed concrete and steel motorway structures, to masonry arches which are maintained by the local councils.
Other work has been the design of building frames in reinforced concrete and structural steel work, also in the design of reinforced concrete water retaining tanks.
